1. Microcontroller:

2. Bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) 

The Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJTs) are three-layered device that controls the current flow in the inverter. With BJT’s small current at the input, the side can handle a larger amount of current at the output. There are two types of transistors, NPN & PNP, which are used as relay drivers, amplifiers, and switches. 

3. Filters in an Inverter

Filters are used to perform frequency selection, so out of a bundle of frequencies, filtering one frequency or range of frequencies is done by filters of an inverter. This way, the right frequency is filtered and used in the process. On the other hand, a low-pass filter allows the passage of low frequencies and creates a difficult passage for high frequencies. 

4. MOSFETs

MOSFETs or Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor-Field-Effect-Transistor are responsible for controlling the voltage and switching off the electronic signals due to their high speed. There are two types of MOSFETs, one is the depletion type, and the other is the enhancement type. Both are voltage-controlled devices with small input currents.   

5. H-Bridge

It is a topology in which MOSFETs, BJTs, and IGBTs are integrated with a single circuit. The basic work of the H-Bridge is switching the polarity of a voltage applied to a load.
